We aim to provide fast and efficient solutions when probate or letters of administration are required.
Generally speaking we hope to obtain probate within 21-28 days of receiving instructions. Where foreign property is concerned we are also able to assist with the foreign probate process, translations, certificates of law and special powers of attorney. Where a foreign lawyer has to be instructed to carry out the process locally then we liaise with that lawyer to ensure the probate process is being effected economically and efficiently. We will also arrange for the payment of inheritance taxes both in the UK and in the foreign jurisdiction and keep you advised at all stages.
Where someone has died owning property abroad then we can assist at all stages to help you to transfer the property into the names of the correct beneficiaries, and ensure that the probate process is properly completed. If complications arise then our aim is to help you find fast and economical solutions.
